Mystic Aquarium Hosting Earth Day Celebration & Clean-Up

as part of its Series of FINtasic Family Events
What: Mystic Aquarium invites members of the community to celebrate planet Earth with two
weekends of events.

The annual “Party for the Planet” will take place on Saturday, April 20th from 11:00 am
to 3:00 pm. Featuring environmentally-minded scavenger hunts, hands-on activities and
games, the party will also teach attendees how to reduce their personal impact on the
environment. Activities are included with Aquarium admission and registration is not
required.

The following weekend, on April 28th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, members of the public
are encouraged to participate in a beach clean-up at Bluff Point State Park in Groton.
This family-friendly event is open to conservationists of all ages, and the Aquarium will
provide gloves and bags. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required to
ensure the availability of all necessary supplies. Please contact
