- How many people went to New York City in the years 1880 to 1919? About
17 million people went to New York. 

-What was the Ellis Island?  Ellis Island was the entry port of the immigrants 

-Where is located the statue of liberty? It is located in downtown

Manhattan. 

-Who gives to the united states the statue of liberty?  France gave them the
statue of liberty in  1886
