CECT HEAD & NECK

PROTOCOL:
CECT HEAD,. FACE AND NECK WAS DONE BEFORE AND AFTER ADMINISTRATION OF INTRAVENOUS IODINATED
CONTRAST. NO ADVERSE REACTIONS SEEN. STUDY REVEALS:
FINDINGS IN BRAIN:
 Bilateral cerebral hemispheres appears normal.
 Bilateral thalamo-ganglionic region appear normal.
 Ventricular system appears normal.
 Basal cisterns appear normal.
 There is no evidence of any midline shift or any extra-axial collection noted.
 Brainstem appears normal.
 Bilateral cerebellar hemisphere appears normal in attenuation pattern.
 Bony calvarium appears normal.

FINDINGS IN NECK:

 Fossa of Rosenmuller on both sides appears normal.


 Tongue musculature appears normal.
 Retromolar region appears normal.
 Bilateral vallecullae and pyriform sinuses appear normal.
 Thyroid gland appears normal in size, shape and attenuation.
 Visualised trachea and esophagus appears normal.
 Larynx appears normal.
 Musculature of the neck appears normal.
 No significant cervical lymphadenopathy seen.

IMPRESSION: CECT NECK reveals
