Are man! Char dina ki baat

O my mind! This worldly charm

is just for four days (its short
lived)
 नर तनु शरद चांदनी बीते, पु न
अं धयारी रात

Nar tanu sharad, chandni beete,

puni andhiyaari rat.

At the end of the golden days of

human life which is like the
Sharad Poornima( best full moon
of the year) there will be again
very long dark nights
तू सोवत कछु जानत नाहीं, काल
लगायो घात

Tu sovat kachu janat nahin,

kal lagayo ghat.

You are still sleeping. Dont

you know that the god of
death (kal) is waiting for you
(like a hawk)
तजत न नींद यद प वषयन के, छन
छन जूते खात

Tajat na neend yadapi vishayan

ke, chin chin jute khat.

You dont come out of this sleep

(of ignorance) although you are
frequently slapped with
disappointments in the world
अवसर चु क फ रया चौरासी, कर मींजत प छतात

Avsar chuki firiya chaurasi, kar meenjat

Once this golden chance of human life is

gone you will be wringing your hands in
despair and you may again go into the
cycle of eighty four lacs (8.4 Million) of
species of this planet.
र सकन कही 'कृ पालु' मनु गहु , युगल
चरण जलजात ॥

Rasikan kahi kripalu manu gahu,

Yugal charan jaljat.

So, O my mind! Listen and

adhere to the teachings of the
rasik Saints and submit yourself
to the lotus feet of Radha Krishn.
