Como norma general, para formar el pasado en inglés se añade "-ed" a un

verbo.

Verbos irregulares

Para los verbos irregulares hay que memorizar su forma de pasado.

AUXILIAR DID-----DIDNOT Se utiliza para oraciones negativas e

interrogativas.

Ex. She didnot work in the hospital.

2 .-Read this information about Robert Scott and answer the questions.

Robert Scott was a naval officer and explorer. He visited Antarctica twice on
a ship called Discovery. His first visit started in 1901 and ended in1904.On
this visit, he discovered the Edward VII peninsula and explored the continent,
but he didn’t try to reach the South Pole. In 1910,he made a base camp at
Ross Sea and from there, with four colleagues, he made the dangerous and
exhausting trip to the South Pole. They arrived there on January 18th
1912,but a Norwegian explorer arrived there a month before them. Scott and
his team all died on the return trip.
