Q.1 Describe the following:

(a) Why longitudinal and transverse reinforcement is provided in column explain their

(b) Explain different limit state considered in design of RCC beam. Derive the expression for

Q.2 Design a reinforced concret

concrete slab for a room of size 4mX5m. The slab is supported on
the wall of thickness 300mm. the slab is carrying live load of 4kN/m2 and finish load of
1kN/m2. Use Mix M20 and steel fe415. The corners of slab are held down. (RGPV 2019)

Q.3 A column of size 300mm X 4400mm
