Weekly Update
I hope you all are healthy and safe. This week is National Library Week. It is
unfortunate that libraries are closed. Tuesday is National Library Workers Day,
Wednesday is National Bookmobile Day and Earth Day, Thursday is National
Poem in your Pocket Day and Talk like Shakespeare Day and Friday is National
Arbor Day. There are so many poetry related national days because April is
National Poetry Month. For ways to celebrate these holidays, go to https://
nationaldaycalendar.com/ Our quote of the week is “A library is not a luxury but
one of the necessities of life” by Henry Ward Beecher. Have a safe week!
