Una Voce Federation sent us his remarks about the agreement between the Holy See and the
Society of St. John Vianney of Campos, signed last January 18th.

In my capacity of Vice-president of International Una Voce Federation, I must say that we are glad
to learn of the reconciliation between the Holy See and the Society of St. John Vianney of Campos.
It’s good that priests and faithful aren’t deserted in their good fight for the traditional Roman
liturgy, and are accepted as beloved sons of the Holy Father.

Una Voce International Federation thanks in a special way His Eminence Card. Castrillion-Hoyos,
whose zeal and patience made possible the “Campos miracle”.

We trust in Card. Castrillion-Hoyos’s benevolence, and we belive that this first step will be soon
followed by the second one: the reconciliation of the Society of St. Pius X. The annullment of the
excommunication lifts the yoke of discrimination and slander from Traditionalists, which is
imposed by misinformed persons in parishes and dioceses.

Only the general permission to celebrate freely the old Mass will grant a substantial protection to
priest who today, out of fear of persecution, must often sham and hidden themselves.

For all these reasons the “Campos miracle” is a light of hope.
