Mobile Application for Creating

Learning Objective Presentational Communication: Speaking and
Writing
SIII.5 The student will present in Spanish
student-created and culturally authentic
products, such as stories, poems, songs, and
skits.
2. Use various verbal and nonverbal
presentational techniques such as voice
inflection, visual aids, and technological support.
Pedagogy
Activity 1. In this activity, students will apply grammar
and new vocabulary as they write a story.
The activity should inspire and engage them,
as well as facilitate their understanding of
new grammar topics.
2. Students will download the app My Story
Book Maker on their cellphone, and create a
5 slides story using the past participle as
adjectives. The adjectives must agree with
nouns in number and gender.
3. Students will need to write a story, select
images to go along, and record themselves
reading the story. All these functions can be
performed using the app My Story Book

1. In this activity, students are going to use the
application Video Thread to communicate
and record feedback of a classmate’s book
created on My Story Book Maker. The
student who gives feedback needs to focus
on the use of past participles as adjectives.
2. Students will create an account on Video
Thread to be able to see and grade peer
book.
3. Students will screen shot their story book on
on Video Thread to allow peers to review it.
4. Agreements and disagreements about how a
peer formed sentences with participles as
adjectives will be verbally recorded. Video

4. As a teacher, I will use a couple of slides to
show how to use My Story Book Maker.
Using their story-recording, I will grade their
pronunciation, their use of grammar, and
their overall creativity.
Technology
Technology My Story Book Maker
This application can be downloaded on the
Apple App Store. Students can create an account
and follow directions to create their story and
look for images to animate it. They will hit the
recording will not be permitted.
5. To record feedback, student needs to click on
the + sign and start recording on the slide
they will comment on.
6. Teacher will assign partner for peer
reviewing.
7. As a teacher, I will grade the story book
based on pronunciation.

This application can be download on Apple App
Store to grade the book created by a peer. This
app allows the one to give a feedback in
different ways. Students are only allowed to
