DISCUSSIONS OF THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY

The following results was based on the Safety Management Audit Inspection
Checklist conducted at Crib House Café located at Alabang–Zapote Road, Talon Uno,
Las Pinas, Metro Manila with the staff, Ms. Glory Fe, Ms. Jessie and Ms. Grace as the
surveyees.

Table 1.1 shows that the Crib House Café is implementing a Safety
Management System with its mean corresponding to 4. This means that they
exceeded the expectation for the safety and health protection of all workers.

Table 1.2 shows the performance of Crib House Café with the safety policy. The
highest score given is 4 while the lowest is 3 with mean of 3.22 %. This means that
they met the expectations when it comes to safety policy of an organization.

Table 1.3 shows the safe work practices of Crib House Café. The highest score given
is 4 while the lowest is 3 with mean of 3.73. This means that their performance met
the expectations when it comes to safe work practices.

Table 1.4 shows the performance of Crib House Café with incident investigation and
analysis. The highest score given is 4 and the lowest is 3 with the mean of 3.67.
This means that they met the standard performance for incident investigation and
analysis. This results shows reasonable result because they have at least CCTV
cameras in their establishment for the recording of incidents.

Table 1.5 shows the performance of Crib House Café with the in-house safety rules
and regulations. The highest score given is 5 while the lowest is 4 with mean of
4.89. This means that they exceeded the expectations. All goals, objectives and
targets in terms of IN-HOUSE SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS were achieved
above the established standards.

highest score given is 5 while the lowest is 3 with mean of 3.86. This means that the
standard procedures for the inspection of the facility in their establishment are met.

Table 2 and figure 1 compares all the mean of different category of the Safety
Management and Audit Inspection Checklist. In-House Safety Rules and Regulations
got the highest ranking with an exceeding performance expectation having the
mean of 4.33 while safety policy got the lowest with the mean of 3.22, yet it still
met the standards. This shows that Crib House are able to maintain the safety, risk
awareness and actions to their establishment.
