1. What was the Industrial Revolution and why was it significant? - The
industrial revolution marks the time when reusable energy was replaced
by fossil fuels. The industrial revolution is so significant because it
changed the way that we live today. The industrial revolution was the
process from moving from manual labor to machine labor in order to
produce goods. This was commenced in the eighteenth century in
England. At the time it was a huge shift in production from simple hand
tools to complex machinery.
2. Why did Industrialization start in Europe?

Industrialization probably started in Europe because of the central pattern for


internal development that favored innovations. Europe was already so
technologically advanced at the time, since they were ahead, technologically
speaking, they industrialized quickly and conquered everyone else. Since
they were already on their way toward capitalist economies before
industrialization came to them.

3. Why did Industrialization start in Britain?

Industrialization probably in Britain increased because the population did &


more food was needed. More money was coming into Britain from successful
merchants & overseas trade. The government changed system of farming,
up till then land was farmed in strips, then they were joined to make large
farms. It occurred here because of Britain’s political structure, transportation
infrastructure, inventiveness, and society open to talented and enterprising
people.

4. How did Industrialization impact the various classes of society?

The working class experienced social issues like low compensation, awful
living conditions, however as wages rose expense of railroad travel fell and
more individuals could bear the cost of something else. Men earned money
for their families, women took care of the home and see their economic role
decline. Slavery expanded with the development because the cotton industry
expanded
