Even though, In order to, because, actually.

Imagine you bought a baloto ticket and you write a letter to a friend telling him/her what you
want to do with the money (hypothetical situation in the present).

Dear friend

As you know I buy the lottery and the baloto every day hoping to win it. I haven’t had the luck to
win it, until yesterday. I won the baloto!!!! Yes I did! Well I didn’t win the jackpot but at least I got
5 of the 6 numbers. Even though I didn’t win the big one, I’m going to get some money, if I get
enough I’m plan to get a house, a vocational house, a car and a bike.

It is a very fun history of how I bought the ticket, actually I was not going to buy it that day
because I didn’t have the money, and I was already in pajamas. Suddenly, I realized my dog was
not making any noise, so I worried; I put my flip- flop and run out of the house. I had run a lot
around the neighborhood when I found my dog in front of the lottery place. In order to thank the
owner of the place, I bought a ticket and I won it!

Hope to see you soon my friend.

Jenny
