STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE

In our country, many people are unemployed. Because of that, it contributes to

the rate of poverty. In order to surpass the struggle in being poor, they want to build a
business, either small or big. According to Business Dictionary, business is an
organization or economic system where goods and services are exchanged for one
another or money. Every business requires some form of investment and enough
customers to whom its output can be sold on a consistent basis in order to make a
profit. But having a business is not easy. There are many things that are needed to be
considered first before building it. Without having proper knowledge, lack of confidence
and of course without capital to manage an entity, they cannot perform successful
business. It can be a gain or loss. The fear of being bankrupt even before putting up a
business is one of the causes why people are hesitating, they are afraid to take the risk.
They need to think twice whether they will invest in an entity or not.

To help them, our team come up with a reality show that will feature different
types of businesses from distinct places in our country, Philippines. By this endeavour,
we believe that it will encourage and help them to come up a type of business which
suited their skills and mastery. Also, by featuring different businesses in this show, we
can promote and make them much popular and well-known in the Philippines.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM

Our program aims to feature different businesses to their respective

places. In this program, we are helping people to promote and let other people know
and visit their place. We are featuring products, specialties and how the company
started. We believe that by knowing the different types of businesses, this will help and
encourage other people to build their own business and teach them how to manage
properly. It can also help the owners to improve their businesses to be successful.

The show “Business Makers, Otw!” will be aired every morning of Saturday and
Sunday. In this show, we aim to give more information that could help especially those
students who are taking up the business courses. We are also aiming to give some tips
to the business owners and minded people. To fulfil or make the show more lively, a
male or female with the age of twenty four (24) and above with pleasing personality and
have a characteristic of a good speaker that can promote well and qualified to be the
host of the said program. In line with this, we are looking for a host that has a proper
education or an uneducated, as long as he/she is having an interest about business
world and capable of marketing the featured businesses in his/her own way. By
travelling to a distinct location, we will rank the top 3 Businesses from that place and
then feature them in our show. Therefore, our show aims not just to promote different
businesses for them to get more customers but also to encourage the viewers that they
can also have their own business.

PROCEDURE OF THE PROGRAM

WEEK 1:

Opening: We are going to play a travelling video with its background music that will
show some road trips in different high-ways. (Urban and Rural)

Ms. Angelica: A supercalifragilisticexpialidocious morning to each and every one!!! I am

Angelica San Diego, and I will be your angel that will guide and help you to have ideas
in establishing different kinds of businesses. I am pretty sure that you’re going to love
me as well as you will love the business too. So, entrepreneurs! Are you ready? Let’s
get started. Today, we will show you some restaurants in Northern part of the
Philippines.

Ms. Angelica: I’m back! Our first destination is Batanes. Today, you will see the famous
restaurants in Northern most province.

Let’s start with “Pension Ivatan Restaurant”, a hotel and restaurant located across just
Basco Airport.

It is one of the most well-known restaurants in

Batanes that offers delectable and mouth-
watering Ivatan cuisines and other Filipino
favorites. One of their must try dishes is their
best-seller, the Ivatan Platter. This restaurant is
open everyday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Reservation is not required but it is
recommended to call them in advance at: 0908659675 (Smart) and 09055859288

Ms. Angelica: Next is “Bunker’s Café”, to have the best view of Batanes’ sunset
panorama while enjoying great food, head to Bunker’s Café in Naidi Hills.

It is located just a few steps away from one of the most

recognizable landmarks in Batanes, the Basco
Lighthouse. This restaurant was closed during daytime
an opens at around 6 in the evening. Their best seller is
“Adobo with Palek”

Ms. Angelica: And last is the “Fundacion Pacita”, it is one of the highly regarded hotels
in Batanes.

Located on top of a cliff, it offers an

unobstructed view of the sky, the sea, the
mountains and the rolling hills of Batanes.
It was once the studio of the
internationally acclaimed artist, Pacita
Abad. Fundacion Pacita restaurant is

For our fourth week, we are now going back to the place where most of the
people are living in the modern style of clothes. And yes, we are now in Manila. We will
show you some popular and top online selling companies, but of course we are focusing
on the different clothes to be wear.

EXPECTED OUTCOME

Nowadays, people engaged in watching different kinds of TV shows and

programs such as game shows, lifestyle, educational and livelihood programs, reality
shows and etc. This program gives a deep effect in our society and one of this is the
reality show that has a vigorous impact on us today. Our program “Business Makers,
Otw!” will show you the goodness of having a successful business. This program will
inspire and motivate others to start their small entity as well as those entrepreneurs who
wanted their products to be well-known. People who will watch our show will be
encourage in building and creating their own business even those aspiring entrepreneur
that have no knowledge in the business world. Viewers will also know what type of
business which their skills or mastery be suited. Moreover, to those inspiring business
persons and other entrepreneurs will be able to know the secrets behind of a
prosperous business. While those businesses that are being featured will be promoted
as well there places. And the products owned and produced by companies or business
persons will become popular to the viewers.

Attributed to those products, places that have been shown

will be visited by many tourists. They will know what businesses are popular and can be
seen in the cities and regions of the Philippines. All the details (address, menu,
accommodation, price and etc.) about the featured business will be known by everyone.
One the other hand, capital and sales in the publicize city will also gain and many
residents will surely benefit to it. Multiple works will be available as a result of no
unemployed in the municipality. Our show will definitely have a big impact in our society.
It will be going to be a hit to everyone!

APPENDIX

STUDIO:

In this reality show, our team does not have a specific studio because we travel across
the country. We only use a minivan that has all the things we needed to set up with.
