In the automotive aftermarket, alternative solutions to replacing the DMF have been sort due to the prohibitive cost of replacing the
Clear Search DMF. One alternative is to replace the DMF with a solid flywheel.The solid flywheel, which is used to replace the DMF is commonly
known as a Dual Mass Replacement Flywheel or DMR. This solid one-piece flywheel will tend to transmit more engine pulse
(vibration) to the drive train. To combat this, the clutch kit provided with the DMR flywheel utilises a specifically designed multi-rate
clutch disc. The specification of the multi-rate clutch disc is vital to ensure the best possible DMF replacement product. When
compared to the alternative of a standard or non multi-rate clutch disc, which some suppliers include in their solid flywheel
replacement kits, the use of a wide angularity multi rate clutch disc as used in the DMR range, we believe to be the best price
performance compromise available today.
