HOPE COUNCIL PARTICIPTION IN SCIENCE WEEK IN BIÑAN

INTEGRATED NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Last September 17, 2019, the Science and Technology department- GENES club
conducted a Booth Camp as part of the Science week. Each sections and Clubs are
invited to join the said program with the topics assigned to them.

To promote the Healthy Lifestyle, the Hope Council bring out the theme "Be Fit, Be
Fab" where it includes physical activities. To make it more fun and enjoyable, the
council officers decided to make a menu of physical activities where the students will
draw the activity that they will do in exchange to the permit that they need in accordance
to the goal of the Science Exhibit. Many students partake in the activity.
 The Menu of physical activities include the following: Jumping Jacks, squats, jog in
Place, Curl-ups, Planks, Stretching, Digs of Volleyball and Push-ups. The students who
participated is also given a brochure containing background about Health Optimizing
Physical Education, the principles in being fit, and some health-related facts.

The

activity lasted for 2 days and still many Junior

High and Senior High students participate in the Booth.

This event helps the Organization to raise fund for their First Project which is to a
Bluetooth Speaker. This equipment can be used in activities involving fitness like
dancing. All grade 12 students can borrow and use this speaker during their time for
Physical Education.
