INDIVIDUAL LABORATORY REPORT (PRACTICAL 1) – 10%
INDIVIDUAL WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT – 30%

ASSIGNMENT
1. Choose any type of food product.
2. Plan on how to conduct the following sensory tests:
a. Difference test
b. Affective test
3. Select only one (1) type for each sensory test.
4. Outline the sample preparation and presentation to panelist.
5. List the order of presentation.
6. Design appropriate sensory form (questionnaire/ballot form) with clear and
complete instruction.
7. State the hypothesis of the test.
8. Create a dummy data for the test.
9. Analyse the data using appropriate statistical analysis.
10.Conclude your findings.
11.Prepare separate written report for each type of sensory test.
