Ref. No. CU/R/2019-20/ 8449 Dated: 11th April 2020

It is notified for information of all the following categories of UG/PG and Passouts students who are to
appear in the Reappear/Improvement Examinations of *1st, 2nd, *3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th & 10th Semester, to
submit the online Examination fees and form for the Even Semester Examinations to be held in
April/May 2020, as per the following schedule:-

#Submission of Online Form on CUIMS is based upon payment of fees.

*1st Semester Reappear – Applicable For 2nd Semester Students only.


*3rd Semester Reappear – Applicable For 4th Semester Students only.

INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING OF ONLINE REAPPEAR EXAMINATION FORM:-

1. The 2nd Semester students having E or F grades in their 1st Semester can appear along with the 2nd
Semester examinations.
2. The 4th Semester students having E or F grades in their 2nd Semester or 3rd Semester (in case of
undergraduate students only) can appear along with the 4th Semester examinations.
3. In case of Post Graduate 4th Semester students having E or F grades in their 2nd Semester can appear
along with the 4th Semester examinations.
4. The 6th Semester students having E or F grades in their 2nd or 4th Semester can appear along with the
6th semester examinations.
5. The 8th Semester students having E or F grades in their 2nd,4th , 6th Semester can appear in the End
Semester Examinations.
6. The 10th Semester students having E or F grades in their 2nd,4th , 6th, 8th Semester can appear in the
End Semester Examinations.
7. The Passout students having E or F grades in their 2nd,4th , 6th, 8th and 10th Semester can appear in
the End Semester Examinations.
8. The students attending classes with special approval are required to submit online Examination fee
and form through their Respective Head of the Department.
9. The required Form is available on their UIMS account under link fill Examination Form. Read
Instructions carefully before filling online Examination form.
INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING OF IMPROVEMENT EXAMINATION FORM:-

1. PASSED OUT STUDENTS (i.e. Passout Batch 2018 and 2019) who want to improve papers of
Even Semesters (Theory Exams only) i.e. 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th & 10th only will be allowed to appear in
April-May 2020 Examinations.

2. FINAL OR PRE-FINAL YEAR STUDENTS who wants to improve papers of Even Semesters
(Theory Exams only) i.e. 2nd, 4th, 6th , 8th only will be allowed to appear in April-May 2020
Examinations.

3. The other students (prior to the above period as mentioned in Sr. No 1 & 2) who wants to
improve papers of Even Semester having “D” Grade only will be allowed to appear in
April-May 2020 End term Examinations by paying the prescribed course wise examination
fee.

NOTE:-

• In all the above cases if the student opts for improvement, then he/she shall be awarded
improved grade only.

• Students appearing for Reappear/ Improvement examination have to appear for new
syllabus if the content of the old syllabus is changed less than 50%.

• No Examination Form/Fee will be cancelled once student have submitted the form online
after given dates. In case any student wants to cancel his/her examination form then he/she
should apply for cancellation of examination form on through email
manik.gupta@cumail.in on or before 20th April 2020. No requests shall be entertained
afterwards.

• Admit cards will be issued online through CUIMS.

• Date of Exams shall be shared on UIMS after the completion of the forms i.e. after 20th
April, 2020. Students are advised to keep a regular check on UIMS for the datesheet of the
examinations.

Copy of the above is forwarded to the following for information and necessary action:-

1. All the Heads of the University Teaching Departments with the request to kindly bring it to the
notice of all students of their departments.
2. All the Deans/Executive Directors/Directors Principals.
3. All the Branch Officers
4. OSDs/PA to Chancellor /Vice-Chancellor/Pro-Vice Chancellors
(For kind information of the Chancellor /Vice Chancellor / Pro-Vice Chancellors).
