Dear Hall County Schools,

As a strong willed, hard working individual, I am interested in the position of a nursing

job.
I feel that my knowledge and people skills make me a good candidate for a nursing job. For the
past three years, I have been a part of the healthcare pathway at Flowery Branch High School.
I’ve learned so much helpful information that will help me in the future. Each year I have
retained more and more information about the healthcare field, from medical terms to illnesses
and treatment to anatomy and physiology to this year, Phlebotomy. This year we have learned a
lot about phlebotomy and our teacher is working on getting us certified to draw blood. This
would be helpful for the future because nurses frequently draw blood and give IVs.

I do not have any formal work experience, but I have worked in the restaurant industry. It
has taught me many valuable life lessons and how to deal with certain situations. My work keeps
me organized and a very good multitasker. I also know how important good hygiene is to prevent
the spread of illness.
