Abctract-'fhe motion of an uncontrolled spacecraftaround its center of mass is considered,the restoring


acrodynamicmoment of the spacccraftbcing describcdby an odd Fourierseriesin the angle of attackwith
the two firsr harmonics.The evolution of phasetrajectoriesis studiedon the basisof analysisof an action
intcgral,f<rrwhich the analyticalformulasare obtainedin full elliptic integralsor elementaryfunctions.Thc
momentsof transitionhetweenvariousphaseplane regionsand boundaryconditionsfor kinematicpsrame'
tersof motion arc determined.For the casesof motion, whcn, intersectingthe separatrix,thc phasepoint may
fall into various oscillation rcgions,the formulas for determiningthe possibility of captureinto any region
are found.
