The Sports Outlet is a mobile app that connects injured athletes with professional counselors and athletes. It aims to provide mental support for the estimated 2 million high school athletes who suffer injuries each year. The app allows injured users to complete a questionnaire then matches them with a counselor or pro athlete best suited to help them cope with challenges like feeling unmotivated or unsure if they can return to their sport. By connecting injured athletes to others who understand their struggle, the app hopes to encourage users to maintain a positive mindset and push through their recovery.
