A VINE MAKES IT UP AS IT GOES ALONG;

It does more than withstand long winters and
all the challenges that its rooted environment comes with.
The vine can move, and quickly so, as it can grow
one foot on a sunny day. 

when spotting vine leaves climbing up the canopy,

you can not know exactly where its roots are.
