Eyes:
White color:
Left eye (big):
Make a double adjustable ring. Weave:
Row 1: 6 single crochet stitches.
Row 2: Weave 2 single crochet in each stitch from last row (12 stitches).
Row 3: *1 single crochet, 2 single crochet in next stitch*, repeat from *to* 6 times (18 stitches).
Row 4: *2 single crochet, 2 single crochet in next stitch*, repeat from *to* 6 times (24 stitches).
Row 5: *2 single crochet, 1 decrease (2 single crochet weaved together)*, repeat from *to* 6 times
(18 stitches).
Row 6: *1 single crochet, 1 decrease (2 single crochet weaved together)*, repeat from *to* 6 times
(12 stitches).
Make a knot, cut the yarn with scissors and stuff it.
Right eye (small):
Make a double adjustable ring. Weave:
Row 1: 6 single crochet stitches.
Row 2: *2 single crochet, 3 single crochet in next stitch*, repeat from *to* twice (10 stitches).
Row 3: 3 single crochet, 3 single crochet in next stitch, 4 single crochet, 3 single crochet in next

Row 4: Single crochet in each stitch.
Row 5: *5 single crochet, 1 decrease (2 single crochet weaved together)*, repeat from *to* twice
(12 stitches).
Iris (black color):
Left iris (big):
Make a double adjustable ring and weave: 2 single crochet, 3 half double crochet and 2 single
crochet (7 stitches). Make a knot and cut the yarn with scissors.
Right iris (small):
Make a double adjustable ring and weave: 2 single crochet, 2 half double crochet and 1 single
crochet (5 stitches). Make a knot and cut the yarn with scissors.
Eyelids (Beige color):
Weave 23 chains and 3 rows of single crochet stitches. Make a knot and cut the yarn with scissors.
Eyes assemble: With invisible stitches sew the iris to each eyeball. With white yarn embroider a
point of light on the top of each iris. Sew the eyes to the head. Sew the eyelid all around the sides
and top of the eyes.
Ears:
Each ear has 2 pieces: a front piece in beige color and a back piece in dark brown color.
Beige color (weave this piece twice):
Make a double adjustable ring. Weave:
Row 1: 6 single crochet stitches.
Row 2: Weave 2 single crochet in each stitch from last row (12 stitches).
Row 3: *1 single crochet, 2 single crochet in next stitch*, repeat from *to* 6 times (18 stitches).

Without cutting the yarn off, face the front piece and the back piece from their backs and join their

Sew the head to the body. Sew the eyes to the head and sew the eyelids all around the sides and top
of the eyes. Sew the nose to the bottom of the eyes, over their union. Sew the lip to the muzzle like
in the final project. Sew the ears to each side of the head. Sew the arms to each side of the body,
making the stitches over the union between the head and body. With invisible stitches sew the belly.
Sew the tail to the monkey’s back.
