O Observable objective:SWBAT compare and contrast different culture practices.(analysis level)

-Multicultural goal:To better understand other cultures, expand our cultural knowledge, see other cultural perspectives and gain
the
knowledge, insight and skills to interact affectively with multiple cultures, especially the cultures of students in
our classrooms and their families

O Observable objective: SWBAT identify others cultures traditions.(knowledge level)

-Auditory-Visual-Kinesthetic learning styles: Auditory:Students will present their presentation and answer
questions out loud.Visual: Students presentation has to be done on Google Slides,Students will complete
a worksheet, and take notes. Kinesthetic: Presenting presentation in the front of the classroom.

-Gardner's Intelligence:Spatial Intelligence will be used when students create their presentation using
Google

3.Instruction-learning Process
Do First: Teacher will have student stand up to do an ice breaker one at a time. Child will state their last
name and one thing that make them unique or a fun fact about self.

Guided Practice:Teacher will present her Individual Cultural Project. After presenting, teacher will read
questions Off the Key Note handout and answer them based off her presentations modeling for the
students so
They can do it independently.

Independent Practice: Teacher will pass out Key Note handout. Each student(7) will have 5 min. To
present their
Presentation(visual) in front of the class(Kinesthetic & Auditory).Teacher will instruct students when to
start and
stop presentation, while other Students fill in the Key Note handout for each peer presentation.

1.What specific subject concepts, skills ,applications etc. does the student achieve for the identified
grade
level? These 2nd Grade Social Studies student will learn interacting/communication skills(Ex.students
Asking and answering questions during presentation) while learning geography(Ex. Completing the Q&A
handout)

2.What specific multicultural knowledge,skills, etc. Has the student achieved? Students will better
understand
other Cultures, expand their cultural knowledge, see other cultural perspectives and gain the knowledge,
