5. Loading
5.1. Dead Load
Dead load is primarily due to self weight of structural members that consists of frames, vertical
beams, blades, and connections. Self weight of structural members is defined according to CFS

7.1. Wind Load Application


The louver receives wind loading from one surface.Wind load is transmitted to frame and
vertical beam through blade.Blades receive the highest wind force (Fw) as defined from wind
load calculation which is -2.970kN/m2.After receive wind load, blades transfer the loads directly
to the vertical beams. The accumulated force is transferred from vertical beams to the main
frame.

1. Blade

Assumed that each blade receives distributed wind load and the amount of space
between blades is 0.15 m, then the distributed load is –0.445 kN/m.
