General Instructions
General Class Etiquette

1. Class will commence on time following the allotted timetable slots. Late comers are not entertained and have to lose their attendance for
that period.

2. Students are expected to actively participate and engage in discussion. Mere physical presence in classroom does not amounts to
attendance and will not help as well to pass the course.

3. Bring your own calculators to the class (daily)

4. Student found disturbing other fellow classmates or indulging in non-classroom activities such as browsing net / playing on mobile shall
be dealt strictly.

5. All announcements pertaining to the course will be through course portal. Hence students are directed to see the announcement page
regularly and/or subscribe to announcement page. Any announcement made in the course portal shall be passed on to your fellow
classmates on maturity basis

Expectations from student

1. If a student remains absent for a class, it is moral obligation of the student to know what happened in the class and make-up for the loss
of lecture / tutorials.

2. Lectures delivered in class is catered to average intelligence level of a class. Given the variability of students, it is quite natural that some
might not be able to understand the concepts during lectures. Hence, it is expected that students revise / go through standard books to
enhance / re-affirm their understanding of concepts or discuss among their peers. If they need further assistance, they are welcome to
contact the course instructor through e-mail / phone / meet in person in cabin

3. Assignments / tutorial problems are meant to help students learn the subject better. Hence it is expected that students take genuine efforts
to solve the problems by themselves / consultation with their peers / referring to books. In case of genuine difficulty in solving a problem,
the student is always welcome to consult the course instructor
