Reliance Engineering group ( REG), is an engineering group

to carryout detail engineering for in-house projects of Reliance Industries Limited. It
is part of Reliance Project Management Group,
which is EPC group of Reliance Industries Limited.

The group has two operating centers, Mumbai and Jamnagar and
has capacity to take up detail engineering work for 1.5 million work hours with a strength
of 800+ engineering professional.

REG has established successful track record in providing best of class

engineering services and is capable of providing comprehensive detail engineering and
project management services for new as well as revamps Units of Refinery, petrochemicals,
power plant and infrastructure projects.

The group is equipped with state of the art IT and data communication infrastructure
supported by latest industry standard software’s such as Smart plant applications
and production techniques for engineering activities.

Role of GET and Its Engagement

Detail engineering work at REG involves design and development for chemical,
mechanical, electrical, civil and instrumentation discipline.

All discipline engineers play very important role in development of plant design by d
oing various engineering calculations and 3D modelling associated with
the use of latest software’s and national, international codes.

GETs at REG will go structural program of organization

orientation as well as technical capability development program so that they are equip
ped to take up Job work and start contributing on the project.

They need to learn various Engineering aspects like basic engineering, Detailed engineering,
Process – PFD and P&ID, 3 D modelling, preparing data sheet , Plant Design & Piping, HSE
inputs, project engineering and automation, Hazop studies and analysis , Structural analysis
& underground civil engineering etc

GETs Placement – Functions & Locations

Post training and based on their performance during training period and organisational and
departmental needs they will be placed either Mumbai or Jamnagar Engineering centre in
following functions like :
