Outline your PLAN(S) for the development of your work
I plan to explore this by researching artists, locations, relationship signifiers, and exploring how
circumstances can reflect how a characters relationship can change with another by looking at my previous
Dungeons and Dragons sessions and writing short paragraphs about an interaction and how it affected a
character.

I will apply all of this by producing a short scene in a storyboard with one or two (depending on time) fully
coloured with subtitles representing the relationship between two or more of the characters from my
previous project.
I will write about each characters relationships first to decide who I will focus on, and I will also write about
possible interactions and scenes I could use to represent them, as well as research into similar scenes
from movies, games or books to get references for posing, tone and composition.

I may use some of the expectation breaking natures of the characters designs to further a relationship or
representation, which could influence tone or message.
Describe the CONTEXT (influences, purposes and meanings) of your work
I was influenced by songs about relationships, games and movies as well as books, because of how they
communicate and display relationships. Some medias are better at showing the emotion of a relationship
while others build them up or talk about what happens, and I would want to focus on the emotion and
relationship itself. I was also influenced by how D&D characters grow and change based on the other
players actions and the circumstances they are in at the time.

The purpose of the project is to explore how characters relationships can be influenced and changed by
certain circumstances and interactions, and how a certain relationship with another can change the way
they act or present themselves.

The meaning behind it is to show that some people or characters are often one way with most people, but
entirely different alone or with someone else, and that first impressions don’t always count for everything.

REFLECT on your work critically as it progresses and on its completion

02/03/20
Finished Compiling artists to research and D&D interactions. I could elaborate on some of the relationships
and interactions so I can have a diverse selection of relationships to draw from, and I should find
relationships from movies, games or books to explore as well because they might wield different results to
focusing purely on D&D. This can be focused on characters that influenced the creation of my characters
for this project and their relationships with characters in their media so I have a point of similarity to work
from.

13/03/20
Researched artists, I would want to research relationships in music, but I couldn’t find a song that had
suitable lyrics for what I was planning.

20/03/20
Started Uploading everything to Weebly and finishing off component 1 work. I started uploading everything
onto one page so I could remember what I had, and so if I lost anything I could copy it from the published
website.

01/04/20
Uploaded two outfit references for Kor and Abby, as I decided they were the two I wanted to focus on. I
included a casual outfit, a workout/hobby outfit and a formal outfit so I could decide what setting I wanted to
write them into.

10/04/20
Uploaded my brainstorming for my theme to my Weebly, as well as the primary drawings and primary
images. I would have wanted to do more, but due to circumstances and other issues, I was finding it hard
to keep up.

20/04/20
I uploaded my research to Weebly, though I still wasn’t happy with what I found. I was trying to look for
other artists but it was increasingly difficult to find someone who would make sense for the project.

22/04/20
I wrote about my final Piece plans, added some more writing to explain my thought process and general
rundowns for the outfits.
