Andre gets the green square box, while Luis gets the green circular box and Sal gets the blue

correctly
Section A: Each question carries 3 marks 8 questions
Section B: Each question carries 5 marks 6 questions
Section C: Each question carries 10 marks 3 questions
How many more questions from Section A should Isabelle have answered correctly if she
wanted to score 90 marks?
8 × 3 + 6 × 5 + 3 ×10 = 84
90 – 84 = 6

14. Mother wants to know which of her three daughters, Ling, Mei or Nan had broken her
vase. This is what each of them said:
If two of them are lying, which of them is definitely not the one who broke the vase?
If Ling is telling the truth, then Mei would be telling the truth too; and that would be wrong since
two of them had to be lying. So, Ling had to be lying.
If Ling is lying, then (i) either Ling broke it or (ii) Mei broke it. Either way, two of them (either
Ling and Nan, or Ling and Mei) would be lying. Therefore, Nan is definitely not the one who
broke the vase.

are 366 days for the year 2020. Christmas Day in 2016 was on a Sunday. What day of the
week will Christmas Day be on in the year 2020?
For every 365 days there are 52 weeks and 1 day, so if 25th December is on a Sunday in
2016, it will be on a Monday in 2017, a Tuesday in 2018 and a Wednesday in 2019.
