 Unit 2/week 1: Describing a famous person

Angelina Jolie was born on June 4, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. She worked as a
model and appeared in several music videos. She is known to embody Lara Croft the
heroine of Tomb Raider. She was married with the famous actor brad pitt, they also have
together six children, Maddox, pax, Zahara, Vivienne, Shiloh and Knox. During that year
she starred with the Spanish actor Antonio Banderas the original movie Sin, based on the
novel by Cornell Woolrich. In 2002 she works in Seven days and one life, and in 2003
she returns to play "Lara Croft".

In May 2013 she made public that she had undergone a double mastectomy, which she
underwent in February and reconstructive surgery in April of the same year. She filed for
divorce from Brad Pitt after 12 years of relationship claiming "irreconcilable differences."
The official separation occurred on September 15, 2016.

Currently she works as a ONU volunteer, participating in different beneficial works

around the world, especially in areas of high poverty and violence.
