I am a 3rd year student of chemical engineering at National Institute of Technology-Nagpur

(a top college, ranked 18th among all the technical colleges in INDIA by the MHRD). I am
interested in research field and want to serve the world in the future by giving my best out of
my learning. An extensive research experience would greatly help me consolidate my future
career choice.
I have reviewed your faculty profile and am interested in the work that you have done. I was
intrigued by your current project on, “Low Surface tension Films”. I would like to get involved
in a research project under you from which I would love to learn as much as I can.

I have done three mini projects in my college and all have been done with utmost
sincerity and have been submitted before the deadline
1) Designing of a storage tank for Sulfuric acid
2) Designing the process flow diagram of phenol (attached at the bottom)
3) Using Chemical Informatics Software for the interaction between two molecules
(making a power point presentation). Software's used Pardock, Open Babel, Chimera,
AMBER force field and E-Dragon.

I have acquired basic knowledge in the subjects Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass transfer
principles, Process calculations, Thermodynamics, Reaction Engineering, Renewable energy
sources, Process control and instrumentation, Modelling and Simulation and Chemical
Informatics. The rigor of my courses at NIT coupled with projects and power point
presentations for my various assignments have developed my analytical aptitude and
communication skills.                       
Basically, I want to have an experience of full-heart efforts and dedicated research
atmosphere, and what place can be better than University of Toronto for that. I can promise
my 100% efforts and maximum hard work in the project I get. Would it be possible to further
discuss Topic and my possible involvement in research? I am available for a period of two
months from May-15 to July-15.
