Week 1

Spaceteam app

We formed a group of seven people in order to play a teambuilding game. The Spaceteam
game experience taught me that teamwork is vital in succeeding. At first we tried to just shout
the things we need the teammates to do, then we came up with a strategy where only three
members of the group are involved in pushing buttons and the others just check on the flickers,
switches and buttons that were missed. This strategy helped us to get to the level five.

Duo app

I teamed up with another student from the workshop and brainstormed ideas for our Duo
app assignment. We focused on coming up with app ideas that would solve a problem that are
encountered in a day to day life. The three main ideas are:

 RGB app
 Family track app
 Country discover app

After we decided that the Family track app is the one we choose to implement we
researched if there are any analogical apps online. We discussed how we could make our
solution unique and maybe better than the existing ones.
Week 2

Hello World app

Today I worked on my first app in Android Studio, it was a nice and challenging
experience, went through the introduction tutorial and developed my first Android app. The
feedback I got from the teacher is to continue the development of the app, playing with the
attributes of the app and the appearance.

UX Basics

We worked on coming up with requirements of our Duo App divided in three main fields
which are User Needs, Business Goals and Technical Constraints. As feedback we were
suggested to focus mainly on the user needs, mostly on the safety part of it.
