DICUSSION

Small Group Discussion is a part of our curriculum which we were trained


to not only listen but also share our ideas knowledge on a specific case with
our group mates. Small group discussion is also one way of reviewing our
past lessons but more applications on the assigned topic.

Small Group Discussion is one of the activities that really enhance my


communications skill. This time, I really tried to communicate effectively
and convey information that can be easily understood. I’m having a hard
time in presenting and I still need a lot of improvement/

CLINCAL
INTERVIEWING SKILLS

As a 2nd year medical student, we are exposed to clinical environment


to improved our clinical interviewing skills. Clinical interviewing is
dynamic and flexible; every interview is a unique interpersonal
interaction, with interviewers integrating cultural awareness,
knowledge, and skills, as needed. It is difficult to imagine how
clinicians could begin treatment without an initial clinical interview. In
fact, clinicians who do not have competence in using clinical
interviewing as a means to initiate and inform treatment would likely
be considered unethical
