Take a Stand

Is it easier to sabotage or save an earth system? Use experiences from our class terrarium, your
home terrarium, and the earth to prove your point and explain why. Choose how you express your
opinion: write a paragraph, draw a comic strip, create a slideshow with images and captions, or
suggest another option!

Plan to spend 1 hour on this project. Start early this week and do a little
each day!

Show your You explain the storage locations in the water and carbon cycles. You
Understanding of Earth explain how water/carbon moves between the different storage
Systems locations. You explain where the energy in the cycle comes from.

Use Evidence You use information from your “sabotage and save spreadsheet” to
explain why. You use at least one example from our class terrarium,
one example from your home terrarium, and one example from the
earth (you might need to do some research for an earth example).

Be Creative You put thought into how you want to express your answer. Your
project is creative and fun to read or look at.
