L.29 FLIGHT REFERENCE CARD.

PARTIAL POWER FAILURE < 500 Ft.:- RELIGHT - HOT START:-

1. Isolation Switch - ON. 1. Throttle - CLOSE.


2. Throttle to RPM - SLOW. 2. Air Start - PRESS.
IF NO GO:-
PARTIAL POWER FAILURE 500 - 12,000 Ft.:- 3. HP Cock - OFF, Air Start - OFF.
1. 30 - 40 Seconds - WAIT.
1. Throttle - IDLE.
2. N.E. Electrics - OFF.
2. Isolation Switch - ON.
3. Power - SET. RELIGHT - COLD START:-

PARTIAL POWER FAILURE >12,000 Ft.:- 1. Throttle - CLOSED.


2. 250 K - NE Electrics - OFF.
1. Throttle - IDLE.
3. C.Bs - LIVE - 10-15%
2. Isolation Switch - ON. WINDMILL.
3. INCREASE Power IMMEDIATELY To:- 4. AirStart - PUSH.
(a) 60% 12,000 - 18,000 Ft. 5. HP Cock - ON - AirStart - OFF.
(b) 80% > 18,000 Ft
N.B. IF Windmilling BELOW 10% USE
N.B. WITH AFRCU ISOLATED, MAKE ALL Ground Start.
CHANGES VERY SLOWLY (NO RPM LIMITER).
ENGINE FIRE:-
LOW PRESSURE FUEL or OIL:-
1. Throttle - CLOSED.
1. Engine Switch & C.Bs - CHECK. 2. HP Cock - OFF.
1. SEC ‘B’ switch Cycle. 3. SPEED to HEIGHT.
1. Power 85% (Max Oil) 94% (Max Fuel). 4. BELOW 240 K - Fire Button -
1. Once Set AVOID Throttle Movement & RTB.. PRESS.
5. NO RELIGHT.
N.B. Oil Pressure BELOW 1.2kg/cm for 2 Mins., RTB as
Above. GENERATOR FAILURE:-
EMERGENCY UNDERCARRIAGE LOWERING:-
1. Switches & C.Bs - CHECK.
2. Load - REDUCE & RTB.
(a) 1. Hydraulic Circuit - BLEED (Cock on
LEFT).
N.B. After 20 Minutes EXPECT EMG.
2. Gear & Flaps Normally - LOWER. U/C & FLAPS
IF This FAILs Then do (b).

(b) 1. BELOW 250 K., 100 bar - CHECK.

2. SEC ‘B’ switch Cycle & C.Bs. FIRE- -----LOW FUEL------ GENERATOR
1. Emg. Hand Valve - OPEN,
2. LEAVE U/C DOWN U/C----FUEL PUMP (LP PUMP) --- RELIGHT

EXT. TANKs -- ISOL V. ---LOW CAB.PR.


EMERGENCY FLAP LOWERING:-

1. C.Bs. & SEC. ‘B’ - CHECK


2. 250 K, Hand Valve - OPEN.
