BORDON

This singing game and play is being done after the burial during evening until
dawn. According to Mrs. Urbano, this kind of play is a preserved tradition of their
generation before. Also, it is their way of entertaining themselves and get rid of
drowsiness at late in the evening together with the consumption of coffee and steamed
saba or cassava. This is one of the funniest and exciting game of the baby boomers
due to its unique lyrics created by them. Unfortunately, this singing game was not
preserved by the new generation at present.
Materials: Stone/Ring
Mechanics:
1. This singing game does not have specific number of players, yet,
everyone could join the game regardless of their age.
2. The players in this game must form a circular pattern and must pass
the stone/ring from the hand of one another.
3. While the game is on, the one who is regarded as HARI, must serve as
a watcher and shall find who has the stone and give it back to the
REYNA.
4. Whenever someone will be caught he/she must take the consequence
dealt by everyone.

PITO-PITO ALIMANGO
This singing game is the older version of HIDE and SEEK. Originated in the barangay
of Casit-an located in Laua-an, Antique. This is one of childhood game of Mrs. Urbano
together with her friends. Its purpose is just for fun during their leisure time.
Moreover, according to her, this is one of the popular singing game that they play most
of the time, way back then.

Materials: Any object that will determine their “Home” or balay .


Mechanics:
1. This singing game has no specified number of players, yet, it’s
just for kids.
2. The players must form a small circle wherein one of their
fingers must be at the top of one player’s palm. The one who
will going to catch someone’s finger in order to determine who
will become the TAYA or the searcher.
3. While the game is on, the finder will seeks for the other players
who hides from the finder or the TAYA. In this part, some
players could quickly go back to their home for them not to be
caught.
4. The moment one of the players has caught, that player will be
the next TAYA.

KANDER PUSHER
This singing game is one of the enjoyable game of Mrs. Urbano’s childhood days .This
game is a representation of two animals that denotes two opposite sides. Specifically,
the dog and cat, for which we all know that they do possess differences that one of
them does not like. Thus, leads to the popularity of this KANDER PUSHER game.

Materials: (none)
Mechanics:
1. No specified number of players.
2. One must represent as the cat and also a dog.
3. Other players must form a circle wherein they need to secure inside the cat,
while the dog is located outside of the circle.
4. As the game is going on, the payers who formed the circular pattern will
secure the cat through creating a small compress circle and help the cat out
through opening widely their arms.
5. At the point where the dog catches the cat the game will soon end.
