The committee is of the view that apart from the Georgetown district where the service of

assist with the up-lighting, delivery and distribution to schools.

In this regard, all Regional Education Officers (REDO’s) will be responsible to oversea and

areas such as parts of regions 1, 2,3,5,6 and 10. REDO’s to be further brief at their general
meeting in the 3rd week in January 2010.

This will require careful contracting of transportation on a retainer basis at least thrice a
year.

It is envisaged that such transport be obtained from the operative domiciled in the
respective regions.
The determination of uploading will be confirmed after contractual arrangements are
completed by the suppliers, namely Banks DIH and Demerara Distillers Limited.
