Liquip Gantry Plugs

TITLE: Gantry plug and cable for overfill monitors.

PURPOSE: Connects gantry system to tanker via industry standard bayonet connectors. May be 3
pin or 4 pin style. Specify at time of order, see below.

SPECIFICATION: Designed for use with common industry monitors and vehicles as well as Liquip “Probe
Doctor”.

Standard plug is 4-pin type for leaner, tighter electrical connection to vehicles, but 3 pin is
readily available. All are completely interchangeable with others.

Connecter pattern is 10-pin to industry standard and can cater for up to 8 compartments
with 2-wire probes. The Liquip gantry socket also accommodates 5-wire probes. Check
that your order details your local system, bayonet style and voltage.

Cable is ten-core self-coiling (8m reach) with petroleum-resistant outer. Each core is 32
strand tinned copper. Standard connection is M25 conduit, an adaptor to ¾" NPT is
available (supplied as standard with junction box).

Cable specifications for Intrinsically Safe installations;

Resistance R = 0.0178 Ω/m
Capacitance C = 45 pF/m
Inductance L = 0.325 µH/m

All materials are non-static producing.

Junction box includes hanger for cable spring and socket.

Socket is heavily ribbed for better grip and bayonet positions clearly visible by being
mounted on bosses.

GP104: 4 pin gantry plug with self coiling cable

MOUNTING: Junction box has two pre-drilled internal mounting holes for 6mm diameter bolts.

MATERIALS: Aluminium box.

Polyurethane socket body.
Stainless steel pins and fittings.
10 core cable, outer polyurethane.
