Evidence: Consolidation activity

Stage 1: The person I admire the most

A. What to do?

Write a biography of the person you admire the most. This person can be, for
example, a public figure, a celebrity, a politician, a world leader or someone
close to you, a relative.

B. How to do it?

You need to carry out some research in order to collect the necessary
information for writing the biography. If the person chosen is a public figure,
you can surf the web in order to get the details you are going to include. On
the contrary, if the person chose is someone you know personally, you can set
up an interview in order to ask the person the questions you may have about
his / her life.

Here is an outline we suggest following for writing the biography. We have

chosen Charles Darwin (public figure), an influential scientist of the
nineteenth century, as example for the outline.

1. Early life and education.
2. Voyage of the Beagle.
3. Darwin's evolutionary theory.
4. Overwork, illness, and marriage.
5. Natural selection.
6. Geology books, barnacles, evolutionary research.
7. Publication of the theory of natural selection.
8. Responses to publication.
9. Descent of man, sexual selection, and botany.
10. Death and funeral.
Stage 2: My admiration for…

A. What to do?

In this section, you will record a tape or video in which you orally present the
person you chose in Section 1. For this part of the evidence you need to
present the biography as well as explain and illustrate the reasons why you
admire this person.

Introduction
I admire you enough to silence many people with your existence
and although many do not know you, I can only say that you are the best thing
for my world to have known you was the most beautiful thing that happened to
me in my life
and although I went through some battles you gave me the strength to win
them.

A description of the biography.

Daniel was born on March 31, 2018
He is a very intelligent child, who from the day I met him became the person I
most admire, he is a little bit of a bad character but that is no reason to stop
admiring him. His favourite food is soup and noodles, likes to eat treats
in her spare time, she plays with her 10-year-old aunt in the afternoon, spends
the morning with her grandmother who is always young, she is 37 years old.
he spends the most time with his grandmother and his aunt, they are his
favourite people.
When he was 7 months old, he was sick with a virus where he was in the
hospital for three days but he got better and it went very well.

From a very young age he proved to be understood, at 9 months old Daniel

travelled with his family to Cundinamarca where he learned to crawl and knew
different places for the first time.
The first time he walked was with his parents where they recorded everything.
Although his mother was too young to become a mother, he showed many
people that these are just excuses for not continuing their dreams.
Daniel and his father had to separate from their mother-husband because
there was no work, but now everything has improved and they will soon meet
again in Medellin.
Arguments and illustrations supporting your admiration for this person.

I admire Daniel because from the day I met him I fell in love, he is very nice,
intelligent, and thanks to him I filled myself with more strength and courage for
my personal improvement, because day by day he teaches me unconditional
love, because when I am sad with just a hug, my world of happiness fills me
again, because even though I do not speak with their smiles, their looks, their
hugs give me hope to overcome each day more. because thanks to him I
learned to be a mom
I admire him because he taught me that this life comes without instructions
and from the smallest to the greatest, they can teach us a lot.

In conclusion.

love is something that we cannot avoid because it is something normal that we

require at birth, that the love of a mother is deeper than the ocean and that I
totally agree with and will always be so unconditionally.

The person I most admire is called Jose Daniel Martinez Quintero, he is the strongest child
I know, he inspires me many goals, he is 1 year old, he is very young but he is very
intelligent and he is beautiful.

He is the best person and although he is not a public figure, he is my son.

B. How to do it?
 Record an audio or a video in the device of your preference. Before start the
recording, you need to organize the information you are going to introduce.
Your presentation has to include the following aspects:

1. An introduction.
2. A description of the biography.
3. Arguments and illustrations supporting your admiration for this person.
4. A conclusion.
5. Sources (In the event you consulted any articles, the web, journals, etc.)

Note: During the presentation you need to include the appropriate

signpost language for oral presentations and also some of the
vocabulary related to responsibility and leadership.

Stage 3: Submitting my evidence

When you finish your work, send the files to your instructor through the platform
as follows:

1. Click the title of this evidence.

2. Click Examinar mi equipo and look for the files in your computer. Make sure
the files are attached.
3. Leave a comment for the instructor (optional).
4. Click Enviar.

Important: The platform will only allow you to submit your files once. Please,
make sure you upload the two (2) files when submitting your evidence.
