o On the website there is an our story section where they explain the purpose of the
company and the legitimacy behind the engineering of the product. On this page
they also show their staff and partnerships they have with other companies
- Objective information
o The website makes it clear that they are in partnership with parks for all and the
world surf league as part of their movement to support being in the outdoors. A
portion of their proceeds go to these organizations and they have two separate
pages dedicated to these organizations on the website
- Up-to-date information
o To specifically give an example of how up to date the website on their customer
service page they have an update stating the newly limited hours for customer
service due to the current pandemic our world is currently facing. Their sales and
list pricings are also up to date.
- Comprehensive information
o They have a link to a surfing championship tour and national parks and info on
the park as well as encouragement to visit the national parks
- Audio-visual elements
o There are many visuals on the website while they are captivating they are a little
overwhelming. I think less photos would be ok with more focus on the product
and less action shot advertisements. Overall the visual elements are great but
there are no audio elements to my knowledge
- Quick-loading features
o The website moves quickly and gives has many options to give the customer the
most efficient route to find their desired product.
- User-friendliness
o The hydroflask website is very user friendly and it is easy to find whatever you
are looking for. Not only do they have a search engine but they also have
categories with subcategories to choose from. Overall I would say the website is
very well organized and user friendly
- Accessibility
o Everything on the website is very accessible and they are even making the
products more accessible to the customer by offering free shipping on products
over $30 which truly benefits the customer since most of the products are over
$30 anyways. Nothing is hidden very upfront and easy to access, again I would
say the website is very well organized.
- Cultural consideration
o I would say that through the website the hydroflask products are marketed to
individuals that embrace the outdoors culture and tends to limit it to just this
culture. I personally believe they could broaden their horizons in who they are
currently reaching.

Yeti

well and up to date to the current year we are in

- Quick-loading features
o Everything is very quick and works efficiently
- User-friendliness
o For the most part the website is user friendly but I was a little frustrated with the
dropdown bar it was a little too hard to try and click on a sub category
- Accessibility
o It is an easily accessible website and nothing is really hidden but I do think they
could make the this is yeti section stand out more I was not really aware of it at
first let alone aware to what it was referring
- Cultural consideration
o I think due to the diversity in outdoor sports the website meets many different
cultures and is respectful in that

Damn delicious
- Purpose
o To provide recipes with simple ingredients to her audience to make cooking fun
and easy
- First impression
o Very well put together and organized. Her graphics look very professional and
you can tell allot of work was put into this blog. The only thing a little frustrating
is the amount of random advertisements on the site
- Length of posts
o I feel like for them being recipes they are just the right length to assure the reader
that this is not too complicated that it is doable
- Frequency of comments
o There were always allot of comments but the amount definitely varied due to the
popularity of the recipe posted
- Source of information
o The source is the creator of the blog , Chunga, and her team
- Authority of information
o The authority of the info is given to Chunga
- Writing mechanics (language, spelling, punctuation, etc)
o The writing is definitely in the format mimicking a recipe book. It is not
necessarily professional but I would not say it is unprofessional juts more
conversational and informative.
- Fast download
o I did not necessarily see where you can download the recipes but you can share
and save to Pinterest and other social media platforms and everything seemed to
load well

Chocolate covered Katie

- Purpose
o Provide her audience with healthy desert recipes
- First impression
o Very credible has resources such as women’s health magazine and doctor oz
giving her praise on the website. Very well put together however her logo reminds
me of something that would be marketed to children instead of adults.
- Length of posts
o The length is great for the type of blog that it is since it gives a short explanation
of what you are doing and then ingredients and a step by step process very
beneficial to the reader.
- Frequency of comments
o There are a variety of comments on her posts and the readers seems to lobe the
recipes and be engaged with the blog
- Source of information
o The source of the info is the owner Katie
- Authority of information
o I would say again all info comes from the author Katie
- Writing mechanics (language, spelling, punctuation, etc)
o The writing is definitely in the format mimicking a recipe book. It is not
necessarily professional but I would not say it is unprofessional juts more
conversational and informative.
o Also she is very cheery in the way she writes which shows how passionate she is
about wahat she does
- Fast download
o Everything loaded nicely and was shareable
- Graphics
o Personally I think the graphics and logo need work and should be looked at by a
professional
- Side menu
o Side menu was great and gave organization to the many subcategories
- Frequency of new posts
o The website seems to be updated often

I would say both yeti and hydroflask had quite good website but they definitely were better at
different things. Yeti was great at legitimacy of the website as well as providing varied stories
and audio visuals for the consumer. They also made their ambassadors personal and gave the
consumer someone to look up to I would say that yetis main page could use some more sprucing
up since it was allot more bland in comparison to hydroflasks main page. Hydro flask could
work on their audio and visuals but the organization of the website was spectacular and
everything truly was easily accessible and up today. Both websites beautifully expressed their
purpose and did great job in explaining their advocacy.

I would say the damn delicious page is more professional and well put together than the
Chocolate covered Katie page however the chocolate covered katei pages seemed to be much
more successful than the other page in regards to the comments shares and media attention given
my well known organizations such as Dr.OZ and women’s heath. This gave her website
legitimacy allowing the reader to trust the author. Damn delicious graphics were spectacular and
I personally think better graphics for chocolate covered Katie would really benefit the website. I
would suggest that both websites pay for advertisement to be taken off the website in order to
help with the flow and organizations of the blog posts.
