EXPERIENCE

AUGUST 2018 – MAY 2019

AFTERNOON TEACHER, ST. STEPHENS DAY SCHOOL
As an afternoon teacher, I worked with two other teachers in assisting the two-year-old children with
waking up from their naps, eating their snacks, and arranging centers and large-group times. I monitored
their daily activities and kept records of their diaper changes, nap schedules, and food consumption. I gave
end-of-the-day verbal reports to parents upon pick-up and worked with them to establish goals for the
children.

JUNE 2019 – AUGUST 2019

NANNY, THE KELSEY FAMILY
As a nanny, I take care of the daily needs of the two-year-old child, including dressing, diaper changing,
preparing food/feeding, and putting to sleep for naps. Aside from addressing the physical needs of the child,
I also organize educational activities and trips to stimulate the child’s mind and instill a love of learning from
an early age.

AUGUST 2019 – PRESENT

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM COORDINATOR, MONTESSORI ACADEMY AT THE ELC
As the afterschool program coordinator at the Montessori Academy at the ELC, I maintain an accurate daily
attendance record, work with nutrition staff to keep record of and pass out snack and supper meals to all
students, assist in creating monthly invoice sheets, and oversee all afterschool activities. I work closely with
the directors of the ELC and Montessori Academy to ensure that all students’ needs are met.

AUGUST 2019 – PRESENT

STUDENT TEACHING, GEORGIA COLLEGE & STATE UNIVERSITY
As a student teacher, I have had experience teaching and maintaining a classroom in the following
grade levels: Kindergarten, First Grade, and Fifth Grade. Collaborating with a partner teacher, I
have created lesson plans, implemented lessons and activities, and have participated in
professional learning and growth opportunities.
