Three Stages

1. Thumbnails.

Complete quick small sketches of 5 ideas. It should be no longer than 5cm to 8cm.

2. Roughs.

Choose 1 or 2 thumbnails to further develop more details are added with references to image or other
artworks viewed. E.g. colour, position of picture/s, letter styles, words orientation of page and choice of
medium (points, pencils, digital photography).

3. Final Piece.

A new page is used to complete this art piece. The most effectively rough is rough is neatly completed.

At this stage you would have determined.

1. Layout of Design (arrangement of words and images).

2. Colour, Size
3. Mediums (pencils, pastels, paints, photography).
