Final Check Up

• I was out of the water for a total of none weeks. It had been about six weeks

since I got the injury and five since I went to Urgent Care.

• The doctor officially “graduated” me from the injury. He was surprised on

how fast it healed considering he thought I would have to stay another four

weeks outside of the water.

• He did warn me though that I have a permanent line on my bone where the

injury was (like a scar). The only downside is that I may always feel pain in

that area for the rest of my life, even though it may be just a constant dull

throbbing.

• I have eventually gotten used to it and have moved on from it. Swimming

has been getting easier, even though that dull throbbing is always there, I’m

able to manage it at this point (for the most part).
