We have a challenge: The famous archaeologist
Indiana Jones has found a number of tools in an important
archaeological site and asks us for help in order to classify
these tools and identify the ways of life in prehistory.

Where do historians get information from? All these things give them information. Write the
right word below each image.
Prehistory is the longest phase of human life when there are no written documents so it has to be
studied from archeological sources. Archeological sources are remains from old ages. Prehistory is
a very long period and changes were very slow.
History is the phase of human life when written sources appeared, around 3.000 BC. It is studied
from these written sources but also from archeological remains.
A Timeline
Design a timeline to show the ages and the main events in prehistory and history. Be creative. Use
your imagination to present it.
