Verb-аатах4 or –аадах4

This suffix is always used with the second person. It basically means “do this right now”. This
form of the command is usually used if the speaker cannot do the requested action for some
reason; therefore the speaker is asking someone else to the action for him.

For example,

Чи наадахаа нэг уншаатах даа. Би уншиж чадахгүй байна.

Read that to me. I cannot read.

Чи заваараа энийг нэг засаадхаарай.

Энийг нэг шалгаатах даа.

Translate in to Mongolian.

Open the window to me.

Just come in here.

Tell me what happened?

Open the door to me.

Wake me up tomorrow, okay?

Help him to find an apartment.

Listen to me first!

Call him and ask about it for me.

Finish this paper work by Friday for me.

Find out where they went for(or to) me.

Take some photos of the rooms to me.

Give my phone.

First you solve your problems. Then we can talk.

Pick me up when I finish at 6pm.

Take this boy to his dad (to me).
