Camping Reflection Paper

Camping is defined as an outdoor recreational activity. The participants leave


urban areas, their home region, or civilization and enjoy nature while spending one or
several nights outdoors, usually at a campsite. This type of recreational activity has
many benefits specifically on our health. The Mayo Clinic reports that meditation may
improve a number of serious medical conditions by increasing self-awareness and
giving a person stress-reduction tools. If you suffer from depression, fatigue, heart
disease or even allergies, research shows that camping can improve your overall
health. Camping also allows you to cope with stress. Stress can negatively affect your
health in just about every way possible, and you're putting much less strain on your
mental and physical faculties by giving yourself some stress-free time at the campsite. 

Based on the video entitled “Camping 101 for Beginners”, it talks all about on
what to bring during your camping adventure. It also discussed on what to do during
camping and some tips are given to help make your camping trip easy and fun. Just like
the given tip on how to have a goodnight sleep when camping. Also the video showed,
simple ideas on how to make your dinner and breakfast during the trip. It also gives
much knowledge on how to make campfire. The second video entitled “What to Bring
Camping? - Basic Gear Checklist”, it shows a thorough camping checklist that would be
vital for ensuring a fun and comfortable adventure outside our comfort zone. These
gears can also be easily found in our homes. Lastly the third video entitled “Camping
and Fun Games 2014”, it clearly shows that during a camping adventure there are many
things that can be done especially having fun. Camping can also help in building our
relationship with our family and friends; you'll enjoy a unique experience together that
will help you keep a healthy and happy relationship. Socializing can extend your
lifespan and delay memory problems according to research published in the American
Journal of Public Health, and apart from the medical benefits, a few close relationships
make life more fun.
