White Chicks Review

The film talks about two F.B.I. agents Marcus and Kevin that unintentionally confused
a vat of ice cream for a shipment of cocaine that they we're supposed to protect.
Frustasted with this fail, they accidentally volunteer to protect two white rich sisters
Brittany and Tiffany from being kidnapped, but after nearly killing the girls on their
way to the Hamptons, they basically decide to dress up as both the girls and uncover the
details of the kidnapping plot by their own.
This film was one of my favorite in my childhood. But it was a long time ago, I've got
really surprised with the bad reviews about the fact that this movie is actually bad, but I
watched again and laughed a lot. First, a recommendation, if you want to see this movie,
choose the Portuguese version. I find that the Portuguese version is more funny and
three times more laughable than the English one. And then do not look at the long
version either, the scenes added are not very funny.
This film, if it looks like an umpteenth American fat comedy, is very well built. We
laugh without stopping, gags and misunderstandings parade and there is no time out.
Unlike many U.S.A comedies, there is not a late pathetic passage full of good feelings
that dribble everywhere in the background sound, tearful violins. It feels good. This
comedy assumes until the end its heavy humor. The story is well built, it's fat, but
there's a real story behind it, and the characters are pretty endearing. It's very satirical,
the film plays on all the clichés, that of the black cop, rich blondes and stupefied at the
Paris Hilton.
By the way, it's a good movie to see with your family or with friends.
