SAMSON AND DELILAH
Short story
Samson, is a man blessed by the Lord and given him an incredible strength that he defeated
a thousand of Philistines.
One day, Samson fell in love with a beautiful woman named Delilah. The five Philistine kings
went to her and said “trick Samson into you telling you why he is so strong and how we can
overpower him". The king promise to give Delilah each a eleven hundred pieces of silver.
And so Delilah ask Samson about his weakness.Samson answered her “If they tie me with
seven new bowstring that are not dried out,I’ll be as weak as anybody else.
Then Delilah tied Samson with new bowstrings. She had some men waiting in another room,
and she shouted “Samson! The Philistine are coming.” But Samson easily break the the
strings.So they did not know the secret of his strength.
Delilah told Samson"Look, you're been making a fool of me and not telling me the
truth.Plese tell me your secret.” And then again Samson continue to lie about his weakness
to Delilah. Then Delilah, who is very persevering on what she's doing. She keep asking him
day after day. Until Samson got so sick and tired bothering about it that he finally tell the
truth. That his strength is coming from his hair that has never been cut. If his hair were cut
he would loss his strength.
So Delilah sent a message to the Philistine kings and Delilah luled Samson to sleep and she
cut his hair and shouted“Samson! The Philistine are coming.”.The Philistine captured
Samson and take out his eyes his and make him their prisoner.
After that the Philistine kings decided to get together to celebrate their victory against their
enemy.and they called Samson to entertain them and made him stand between the the
columns.Then Samson touches the column which hold up the foundation of the building.
Then Samson prayed to the lord “Give me my strength this one more time, so that with this
one blowI can take all the Philistine out.” So Samson push the column with all his might and
shouted “Let me die with the Philistine.”
