• A STUDY WAS DONE WITH 50 STUDENTS IN THE TENTH GRADE TO DEMONSTRATE WHETHER
SMART BOARDS COULD BE BENEFICIAL IN BIOLOGY CLASS, PARTICULARLY WHEN
DEMONSTRATING THE PROCESS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS.
• THE RESEARCH TEAM WANTED TO FIND OUT IF THE TECHNOLOGY WOULD INFLUENCE
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
• IN SUMMARY, A RESEARCH TEAM CONCLUDED THAT THE USE OF SMART BOARDS INCREASED
STUDENT PARTICIPATION, INCREASED ATTENTION SPAN, ALLOWED THE LESSON TO BE MORE
FLUENT, THE APPLICATION WAS IMPORTANT FOR PERMANENCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, LESSONS
WERE INSTRUCTED FASTER AND THERE WERE RESOURCES FOR THE REPETITION OF THE SUBJECT.

• THE LESSON WAS DEMONSTRATED TOO QUICKLY
