A watch-like device for deep-sea divers that uses pressure and temperature sensors to indicate how much
oxygen a diver has left and when to come up for air.
It measures heart rate, perspiration, read internal temperature and make sure it’s compatible with ocean
temperature to prevent the divers’ liability to get sick.
Its location will be in the sight of the diver instead of on the oxygen tank.
Progress Check 2-
Devices will now focus on oxygen tank alarm systems and decompression sickness.

Preliminary Research
Customers
The AquaTell Team will discuss the estimated growth of the diving industry and the previous
rates throughout the years. It will mention the amount of consumers per year.
The global scuba diving equipment market is estimated to register a CAGR, annual growth rate,
of 6.41%, during the years, 2019-2024- according to Mordor Intelligence and expected to grow
at a CAGR of roughly 3.7% over the next five years, will reach 1180 million US$ in 2024, from
990 million US$ in 2019, according to MarketWatch. Most divers will spend between $200 and
$300 and are willing to spend more since they also spend money on a pressure gauge and a dive
computer. Most customers are willing to pay between $65 to $75 for this product.
The items considered to be the most essential while scuba diving besides a diving mask and a
wetsuit is a scuba tank, a regulator, and then the pressure gauge and the diving computer.
Our device plans to update the pressure gauge, an item which is deemed as a necessity for your
health. Since diving includes risks like decompression sickness, divers are willing to pay more
for their own safety.
The most similar product to ours, The AquaTell, is the G2 Wrist Computer by the come of
Johnson Outdoors. This computer includes features like a heart rate monitor, skin temperature,
and air integration that monitors tank pressure. The air integration also helps the oxygen being
used to be factored if decompression is a weakness. This device is customizable as well.
According to DEMA’s article on Recreational Scuba Diving and Snorkeling, There is a range
from approximately 2.7 to 3.5 million active scuba divers. In total, there are roughly 6 million
divers in the world. These divers purchase equipment for their diving explorations and will be as
we said before will spend from $200 to $300 on equipment, but they are willing to spend more.
The AquaTell helps to monitor the amount of oxygen left in your tank and alarms you when it is
low, your heart rate, the pressure, and internal temperature. AquaTell includes monitoring the
surrounding ocean temperatures and the humidity of the diver. It costs around $75 instead of
$1,080.

#5- Do you think this device could be used by people of different ages?
Yes to those who are SCUBA certified either from ages 12 or up or the age bracket of 18 to 50.
