Concept of Muesli or breakfast cereals is still new in the market and they will have
to create awareness in health conscious customers through marketing campaigns
Lack of of product awareness is still a major concern for Engro because of the
concept of paratha and bread is still deeply settled in the mind of customers
They will have to target the niche who is health conscious
Since Muesli involves dry fruits in its ingredients that can be expensive in Pakistani
market
As Engro is known majorly for fertilizers and dairy products, they will have to enter
in the breakfast cereals market.
Opportunities
There is a recent growth in market size of ready-to-eat cereals as people are more
indulge in their work life and have limited time for breakfast that creates an
opportunity for Muesli kind of product to capture that market share
As there is only one local company (Fauji Foods) who have Muesli in their product
portfolio, it creates opportunity for Engro to launch this product
With the launch of Muesli, Engro will have an opportunity to enter in breakfast
cereals market and expand its product portfolio
